As you may already know by now, Bethesda has taken another step in its mighty struggle against RPG Codex. First, the links were outlawed, then any mention of the site wasn't welcome, and now the filters change the name of the site (go ahead, give it a try) into "I love Oblivion". It would be funny, if it wasn't kinda pathetic.

So, may I ask - very politely, mind you - who was the genius behind this idea, why it was implemented, and why Bethesda can't take criticism? How bad could the Codex influence be?

Can someone explain to me just what is going on with this whole r.p.g. codex thing? What is r.p.g codex and what is their problem with Bethesda and Oblivion? Any thread about it always gets dissapeared before I get to it.

Apparently Bethesda has issues. A couple of developers (who use to post regularly at the Codex) have mysteriously disappeared those forums. Its believed that one of the higher ups have banned them talking on the forums. A couple of Codex members posts have been getting deleted on this board and now the filter has changed. Someone in Bethesda seems to have a grudge against the Codex. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
